Welcome to the week 17 recap podcast. I believe this will be the last recap podcast

we do of the year as there will not be anything to kind of take our takeaways and go forward

with them, but I hope that you had a great championship week. And we're about to be joined by

everyone from the World of Woleteen who covered the games for us this Sunday. Let's get to the games.

The Buccaneers defeated the Panthers 30 to 24 and Patrick Dardi. This clinched a playoff spot for

the Buccaneers who definitely took their time in making sure they were actually punching the

tickets of the playoffs. Never a doubt actually, in my opinion, you know, beginning with I never had

any doubts since they got destroyed by the Panthers in weeks of the same Panthers team. And yeah,

I mean, they go from probably honestly, even though they beat the Cardinals in that game on Christmas

and week 16 close to like the low point of Tom Brady's career. I mean, maybe that Titans playoff

game, this final game as a Patriot, but coming off just a real, real, really bad game. And they

apparently this week talked in practice. I don't think they really talked to like played this

up during the week, but they were talking during the broadcast today that they were basically like,

yeah, we got us, we can't be so conservative. Like they finally decided like take matters into

their own hands. And they did it early with a deep left sideline target to Mike Evans. And he

dropped it again. This one wasn't as egregious as that 75 yard touchdown. But like it was a drop

and it would have been a big play. And it was this kind of like hard to shake that feeling like,

man, this team is this cursed. I think the Panthers rupped like multiple scores. But instead of that

like ending the game, like they knew what they had to do, they stuck with it. And yeah, the end

result, Mike Evans 10 catches 207 yards, three touchdowns, all three touchdowns are over 30 yards,

two over 50 yards, second most yards of his entire career in a single game. I think they said it
