Welcome to a Good Football Show's week 17 recap pod.

My name is PacRain and just a few moments, I'm going to be joined by everyone from the

NBC Sports Edge team who covered the games for us. And when I say everyone, I mean everyone,

because this was a huge week of games, a huge Sunday of games did not have a Thursday

game. We did not have any Saturday games. Do have a Monday game, but every other game

was on Sunday. So ton to cover, let's get to the games.

The Titans defeated the Dolphins 34 to 3 in a game where the Dolphins must have been

a comeback mode, but Jalen Waddle was held in check. Chris Allen, what was going on

on the Dolphins side of the ball here? To be quite honest, I have no idea what the

game plan from Brian Flores was coming into this game because after last week's performance

for the Dolphins going up against the Saints, it was nothing but Jalen Waddle and we expected

that for that to be the case going up against the Titans. I know the Titans, like they're

defense from both a rush defense and also a passing defense. I mean, both top 10 in

terms of either rush EPA allowed or even EPA for dropback. I know the defense was fairly

tough overall, but they had been beaten in the slot over the past like few weeks. Now

I know that you can't really compare a Jalen Waddle, at least we can't yet to guys like

Cooper Cup. I mean, but even Jacobi Myers had a good day against the Titans if I'm remembering

correctly when they played against the Patriots. So I thought the matchup would still be there,

but seeing him only at seven targets, he was involved. I guess somewhat early on. I

mean, he got an end around, I think on their first series, maybe a target here or there,

but mostly kept quiet. We didn't see even a larger or even a deep shot for him, even

though we can't really expect to it. I have a lot of those, but we didn't see an explosive
