Welcome back, everybody, the Football Guys Daily Update. Give us 10 minutes. We'll give you everything you need to know to make you the most informed fantasy football player in your league.

I'm Bob Harrison. It's week 16. Our fantasy playoffs are in progress. It's been another wild ride. Before we get to some of the bad news from yesterday and Saturday, let's start off with a positive note in tonight's game. Only one player of interest will be missing from the Monday night football stage.

49ers wide out Ricky Pearsall was ruled out Saturday due to knee and ankle issues.

Hopefully, you had to work around yesterday or even Saturday or you have a fallback tonight.

On the other side of the ball, Philip Rivers will make a second start for the Colts with

Indy hoping to pick up the offensive pace a bit.

Now on to the injury news from this week's already completed games and we'll start with

what appeared to be the worst injury of the week.

Cleveland head coach Kevin Stefanski told reporters after his team's loss to the bills that

rookie running back Quinshawn Junkins suffered a dislocated

ankle at a fractured fibula late in the first half of the contest.

Junkins is also being evaluated for a knee injury, but the dislocation and fracture will

require surgery.

Backups Rahim Sanders and Trayvion Williams handled the backfield duties after Junkins left

yesterday.

Both could play

prominent roles in week 17, depending on the availability of the team's other rookie back,

Dylan Samson, who was inactive for a second straight week due to a hand injury. We'll be watching

for more on Samson's progress this week as the Browns prepared to take on the Steelers. Also,

quarterback Shador Sanders had to exit Sunday's game briefly after suffering a

lacerated pinky finger on his throwing hand.

He returned with the injury heavily bandaged.
