Very unusual for us this year to have an obvious ad of the week.

But you may have heard the Monday afternoon news that not only Christian McCaffrey is headed to

injured reserve, but also Jordan Mason, his direct backup, high ankle sprain and the Buffalo

Snow Monday evening. That makes one Mr. I'll let you say the name, but very, very obvious out of the

week, the third string 49ers running back. Who is he? And why is he the out of the week?

Isaac Rendo, they quite literally don't have another healthy running back on the roster.

Obviously, Patrick Taylor will be called up from the practice squad.

But to that point, there is not another running back right now competing four carries with him.

And I think the setup of a team at the end of a lost season.

I don't think they're mathematically eliminated from playoffs yet, but I would assume their

playoff probability hit close to the- Well, they have a shot to actually make it because of how

messed up the division is.

My guess is they're close to 5%.

I think it's more like 20, but it's between 5 and 20.

No, it was 17 last week and they lost.

So it's not 20.

It's like 5.

I mean, either way, it's not looking good.
