| 0:00.0 | What is up, it's the rant. My name is Jeff Racklevin. It is Tuesday, December 6th. We are at the end of the fantasy football regular season week 14 upon us here and still a lot of work to be done. |
| 0:28.0 | Obviously, if you're still listening to this podcast, you're in the mix right now. Maybe you've already clenched. Maybe you're fighting for a playoff spot, but we're going to try and get you there today with the final waiver wire of the fantasy football regular season. |
| 0:41.0 | And well, it's a pretty interesting group of players. I'm going to start right away, hit the ground running today at the top. It is James Cook. I'd be willing to go 40 to 50%. |
| 0:51.0 | It finally happened. They finally took the training wheels off of them last week. And let's be clear, this is not a James Cook 90% snap share James Cook dominating touches James Cook true three down back situation. |
| 1:06.0 | This is James Cook in a time share, but it that mind you a time share with Devon Singletary is much better than Devon Singletary just as the clear feature back and cook as a backup. |
| 1:18.0 | And really what we've seen is a slow progression, a slow build up to get to this point, which is something that the team even told us in the preseason, they said that they they were going to take their time with James Cook. |
| 1:30.0 | We knew they had aspirations for the postseason and they obviously still do. It looks like, you know, they're in the driver's seat to at least have a playoff spot. If not win that division. I mean, obviously right now after Miami lost, they are in sole possession of first place. So that's great. And I don't expect that to change. I don't expect the time share to change Devon Singletary is still going to be used, but Cook gives you more pop. You can find a guy who is flex worthy or better at this time of year. You go after that guy. |
| 1:59.0 | Now I'm not going to make moves just for the sake of making moves and I'm not going to drop players who are viable options just to add a guy. Like I don't want to give my league starting level options. I don't want to do that. |
| 2:13.0 | You know, for example, somebody asked me where he most or would you drop him for James Cook? Well, he and most or could be the number one guy in that backfield. He was this past week. And that's a potent run game. So no, I don't want to give that to my opponents. |
| 2:26.0 | But, you know, I do want to go and get him if I can't. Now the beauty is we probably already added him several weeks ago. If you listen to the podcast, you've been sitting on it for a while and you don't have to spend 40 or 50% on him. But he has the number one this week. |
| 2:40.0 | Also, widely available. Still, I'm surprised by the zone of a night. I'm going 25% now. Michael Carter should be back this week. You'll see a split in that backfield. But when you look at what zone of a night is done over the last two weeks, he has proven to be an effective early down runner. He can catch the ball to the backfield. But when you care and compare apples to apples, him to Carter, who is the better early down runner for the team right now. I think it's on of a night, not Michael Carter. |
| 3:07.0 | So it's something to think about there with BAM night. But if he is somehow still available, go out and grab him. I realize that he may not be. However, Michael Gallup might be. I'm going 10% on Michael Gallup, turning up two touchdowns last week. It's a really nice set of matchups here the next couple weeks. Now week 16 is not nice. That's against Philly. But he should be in the wide receiver three conversation in the next couple weeks here. |
| 3:30.0 | Jared Goff are top streamer of the week coming off a really good outing and faces the Vikings. Now the following week is against the Jets. So this is a one week rental. However, at this time of year, you got to make sure you get your guys, you know, especially if your playoff life is on the line, you want to go out and who would have thought like Jared Goff, like I got to get Jared Goff, but you want to go out and get him. You got to spend a little bit. So I have seven percent. And that's that's a lot for a one week streamer. Greg Dolsich, five percent, no, a fan, five percent, ebony, number five. |
| 4:00.0 | If you need help, it tight end. These guys could be the help. Of course, it is tight end and it's volatile. Dolsich coming off a very good game. That was the first good game. We've seen out of him in a while. And it's not him. We know it's coaching and a little bit of Russell Wilson or one way or the other. |
| 4:14.9 | It's a little one. A lot of the other or maybe just a lot of both. Either way, the team did come out and say, hey, he's been used more like a wide receiver. That is such an advantage at this position. And we know he's kind of a wide receiver anyway. |
| 4:28.2 | Like that's what he was at the college level was basically a wide receiver at UCLA. So I don't mind that 5% on him. No, a fan really liked the way he's been used here in the middle of the season, coming off of really solid performance last week, got in the end zone. |
| 4:43.1 | So I like the direction there. And then Evan Ingram. I mean, how many times have we dropped and added Evan Ingram this season? But hey, he had a good game last week. So why not? |
| 4:56.1 | DJ Chark at 5% coming off of his best performance of the season really looks like he's kind of maybe finally in that downfield field stretcher role that we were hoping he was going to be in for a bulk of the season. So I like that there with him. And Darius Slayton 5%. |
| 5:14.0 | The guy quietly has become the number one receiver for that team. And granted it's not a pass heavy team. Daniel Jones was pretty efficient last week. I'll be honest there. |
| 5:23.4 | And Slayton's making plays. He's putting up wide receiver three numbers. So why not? Camakers 5%. Yeah, this is like the Bizarro waiver wire this week. But he was the top back last week. He scored two touchdowns. The team is an absolute mess. |
| 5:39.8 | But he's in a good spot to produce here. So I'm not really going to think twice about this. I'm going to roll with Camakers. He passed up kind of Williams into pecking order. |
| 5:49.4 | And so here we go. Let's try it on for size. Camakers just 5% though. Also going to 5% on Samaj P. Ryan. I mean, mix and should be back this week. But he run was a monster last week. |
