It's Friday, December 5th week 14 officially underway. I'm Jeff. This is the rant. How about that last night? Jamir Gibbs, hopefully you're not facing him like I am in a league. Well, I'm down, but I'm not out, baby. I had Jake Bates. This is the only league I have a kicker. It's a home league. Jake Bates putting up some major numbers. I think it was like 16 points in that league.

I'll get off to that good start. See if we can make up ground on Jemir Gibbs. Good luck to me.

But I do have Jonathan Taylor going in a big spot. Enough about me. Let's talk about you.

You may have some start sit dilemmas. You may have some questions heading into this weekend's action.

And I often get to this point of the year and I do a very similar bit each year, but it helps

just as a friendly reminder. If you have a close start sit decision, you can't make it on a Friday.

You certainly can't make it on like a Wednesday or a Tuesday, but you can't

make it on a Friday. There's still a lot of information that's going to come in the next couple days.

I mean, heck, look at somebody like Amari and Hampton. We have no idea if he's actually going to play this week.

We don't know. We don't know if he's going to play this week. That's the challenge because he went

limited in in practice yesterday. But by Sunday, we're going to have a pretty darn good sense of

whether or not he's playing based on what happens in the next two days. We get a practice report

today. We see if he's practicing in full and if he isn't, then we wait until Saturday. And then if he

isn't from there, I highly doubt he's activated. But if he goes full, he could be activated. Heck,

you can go full and maybe not be activated. There are a number of situations like that that no

matter what we do on a Friday, we just can't answer the question. So if you have something close,

wait until you get all the information. Nothing is going to be that impactful. Like you don't have

to make the decision today for your fantasy squad to do well. But then, you know, there are other

things that happen at this time of year as well. Maybe you have a decision that isn't actually that

close. And I've seen this with a lot of guys
