through my head and it's like welcome to the athletic football show so I'm doing great can you tell

I had a nice little shot of espresso before this episode too like that have to stay up and watch the White Lotus finale after we finish recording this, my fiance and I. So she's been planning for it for like six hours. And I also had to just drink a cold brew. I just drank a stock of cold brew at 1045. I'm levitating right now. It's amazing. So you guys are about something. I'm going to, we're going to rip it here over the next hour. So a lot of stuff to dig into today. We're going to talk about the Lions big win. Talk about big day for Jalen Hertz and what that might mean for the MVP conversation. Purdy mania happen out there in San Francisco. I'm very excited about that.

Talk about the NFC and AFC playoff pictures, just kind of where things stand.

Kind of go rapid fire through some of the games today that might affect the playoff

pictures in both conferences.

Let's start with the game we just watched, though.

Nate, not sure if you're aware of this, but Justin Herbert's pretty good. I, I, I, I've said this before on the show. I have the same note. I think that Justin Herbert guy is pretty, pretty damn good. And I think, I think he was willing to try some stuff tonight. I've seen some two, or some, uh, Justin Herbert creative plays out of Frody and slip right there. Some, like right there some like creative plays right there that was pretty uh that was a great performance from

Justin Herbert and really the Chargers actually the Chargers defense we'll get to it a sec but

that Justin Herbert guy he uh he can play some football he can sling that pigskin around

the what he did under pressure today just seemingly every time someone was in his face, this is a skill that he has had for a very long time.

And there have been some iffy moments with this over the last few weeks as their offensive line has crumbled even further than it had over the last couple of years.

You know, losing your right tackle, your left tackle,

and your starting center last week.
