A full day of football to break down?

Let's talk to the pros.

Hey there, everybody. Welcome back to the Fantasy Bros. football podcast and your host,

Dan Harris. I'm on Twitter at Dan Harris 80. It is time to recap everything we saw in week 14 by a very

happy individual for reasons we'll discuss shortly. It has to do with the 49ers Bengals game with me to talk

about everything is my lesser companion here. Pat Fitzmore is, find him on Twitter at Fitz underscore FF Fits. How was your football Sunday?

It was good, Dan. I mean, little did we know when we watched the Minnesota Vikings jump out to a seemingly insurmountable lead on Thursday nights,

only to hang on by their fingernails and have that game come down to the last play. Little did we know that would be a harbinger of things to come in week 14?

Really incredible, right? And I will be honest, what I'm teasing Pat about is that Pat was the guest in our betting pros podcast this week.

And we actually, for the first time, just took opposite sides. Pat and I agree on a lot of things. We see things very eye to eye when it comes to football.

So we said, okay, we disagree on this. Let's make it our bet and whoever wins can sort of tease the other one on this spot.

So the 49ers won. It turned out to be an incredible sweat. Crazy. The other bet Pat we were talking about that I had was the Ravens getting two and a half in that game,

which also was a game that I had written off midway through. I just, all right, sorry, wrong side of that, which it still was the wrong side.

Ultimately, here's that. This was just crazy. Constant comes back to the fact that that bills bucks game went into overtime just absolutely.

But a fun day of football, right? I felt myself enjoying it even more as a fan. I felt like then forget about fantasy just as a fan. And I usually do because of all the craziness, you know.

Yeah, there were a lot of complaints about the early games until we had a couple of them get really tight at the end. And then, yeah, some more madness in the afternoon, the late afternoon slight.

So it was a fun day indeed. Yeah, that's really when it went crazy. And I will say that my wife was very much of a like because we have like a short amount of time pat between like after the afternoon games and the kids go to bed and before this podcast where we hang out.

And it was like, oh, I'm really sorry. I have to watch the end of this bucks bills game. And I have to watch the end of this 49ers, bangles game. So everybody other than my wife really loved football today. I'm sure but I apologize to her.

Anyway, I'll make it up to her separately with ice cream tomorrow. I'm sure but in the meantime, let's get into it. Let's start off with a couple of housekeeping things after this podcast as I say most weeks.
