Welcome in to another edition of the Finishing Footmallers DFS podcast. Sometimes you just gotta let the intro music roll in, Betts. You know what I'm talking about?

Oh, for sure, especially with a hit like this. I mean, the people know this song and this, this jam. Yeah, it's climbing the charts. It's great. It's a, it's one that you just let it happen and you just enjoy the sweet, sweet tones that is the song.

I often play a little bit of air guitar if I'm listening to this sometimes and just so you know sometimes I do listen back to one C. Hey, what did I say earlier in the week so that I don't just happen.

Often it's really easy to galaxy brain and forget on Tuesday. We like certain plays, but it is for that entry music. So hopefully your jazz you're with us and hopefully week 13 was kind to you.

We're at the point of the season where if you're playing in redraft, it's almost playoff time, but in DFS world, I think the fatigue, especially after this past week, if you did not cash this past week, if it wasn't kind to you, then maybe you said everything was all luck or this is all bad.

Let's quickly recap this past week or cash lineups and then we'll get into some salary standouts and the state of the week 14 slate, but my oh my, there are lots of points flying everywhere. It was my highest cash lineup output of the week. So before we start boasting about what happened.

Kind of give people the overview of like, hey, if you didn't have these players, I'm sorry.

Yeah, there's just seems to be like two or three weeks every NFL season where the best plays are the best place. And if you didn't play those guys, you were pretty much screwed. And this week, Chris Godwin, I mean, good Lord 15 receptions. If you didn't have Chris Godwin on draft Kings with their full PPR scoring system, you were probably varied.

You know, Antonio Gibson was one of the most popular guys. He hit Sonia Michelle. We ended up getting him with Daryl Henderson in his quad issue. He hit Tom Brady and Gardner Minshire with the two quarterbacks. Everyone played. They both hit at the relative price points.

So yeah, it was just a slate where like if you didn't have those guys, it was really tough. And there's certain slates where when you play Concertion and the chalk fails, you have a massive benefit in GPPs.

This was not that week. You know, I felt really strong about some pivots that I made. Like I played Mike Evans. And I was like, that's a really smart GPP play. It just didn't work this week, right?

So it kind of just depends on, you know, how you play and what slates you like to play. And with these high scoring slates that you had to have 200 plus to take down a GPP, especially in those large fields.

If you had like a 180, you probably didn't have a bad line up. You just ran into a really tough week. And so I think it's one of those, you know, process of a result sort of situations.

Reminder that every single week, it is a different slate because you're getting different prices. You're getting different games and you're different.

You're getting a different cash line. Like, you know, if you scored 150, normally you would say, hey, that's pretty good. But that's good over the course of a season.

That's kind of the the meeting outcome. You needed in the 170s, 180s to really truly get there. And I know some people might be complaining about this.

But because the chalk hit, the roster percentage was so condensed, everybody had high scores. I mean, so you wrote down a lot of these guys.

I was fortunate enough in my cash lineup to have the RB one, Jonathan Taylor, to have Sony Michelle, who basically eight X almost eight X on his salary.

Antonio Gibson, like those were the running backs at the top. And they were a large portion of lineups that had those we talked at length last week.

Most lineups are going to have three running backs in them. So Alexander Madison did just fine. But if you went anywhere else, if you want mixin.

If you try to get a little bit cute with Jamal Williams, then I think that's where it was a little bit tough.
