My name is Chris, and this is a show. Hello there, gang. How are you? Thank you for visiting with me on this yacht today. I hope you're doing well. Monday's podcast, detailed most of the Sunday games that were pulse pounding and exhilarating to watch. And today I'll be

doing the rest, the rest of the Sunday games and the Monday night game, trying to stay focused

on what you need to know, you know, but sometimes what you need to know goes beyond a simple

binary approach. Am I starting this guy that you're talking about? Should I be using him or not?

Stuff that we can learn about context can help us with the calls that are more gray area and

qualitative rather than quantitative. And if I'm going to start out thinking about context

for that Monday night game, Steelers Colts, what I think, first of all, is that

latter day Matt Ryan is a coward. Now, okay, that's strong, and I don't actually mean it literally,

because literally he's out there potentially getting his body destroyed on every single play by men the size

of hippopotamai. But figuratively, I actually do mean it. Figuratively, I mean it. Matt Ryan has

been whittled down to the barest nub of what it means to be an NFL quarterback. You could hear it in Troy Aikman's

voice. Aikman was essentially disgusted with how Ryan played on Monday night, as disgusted as you'll

ever hear him get with an established guy. And if you can get through some of the cliches,

I actually think Aikman has gotten really good at his job. I think if you can get through some of the cliches, I actually think Aikman has gotten really good at his job.

I think if you listen hard enough, he's one of the best at actually telling you what he thinks.

That's a pretty embarrassing play.
