Hello, everybody. Welcome to a good football show. I'm your host, Patrick Darty here today with Kyle DeVorchick and Patrick Karein, where we will be previewing Thursday night football.

It's in the week 13's biggest games, including with chargers at the bingles and the Raiders hosting the football team, which football team will be revealed during the show.

We'll also be graced with Karein's stat of the week as we try to dive into every fantasy relevant player of the week.

But Karein, instead of a stat of the week, I saw it here. Maybe you have an anecdote of the week until you told you want the floor to begin the show.

Well, I just need to let listeners know that they're going to be hearing some stuff like they just heard.

There was some flooding here in New York a month or two back and there's apparently a hole in the basement ceiling, which the landlord decided three o'clock on Wednesday was a great time to start fixing.

So I believe it sounds like the saw is out now. The hammer has been in heavy use and I've heard the power drill get started a little bit.

My dog is understandably freaking out because it sounds like someone is trying to drill through the floor and kidnap him.

He does not like it's you'll also hear the dog barking. So any kind of like construction noises are just, you know, a construction guy right below my feet.

No, that's just that's an intern trying to work in sound effects. And he says not very good at it yet.

I was actually what that is. And Karein, I got me out. You know, this is why Denny was fired from NBC for having construction noises in the back. Is that finalized?

It's fine. He's gone, folks. He's gone except for he was immediately back. He was rehired immediately by the lawyers. The legal saga was on.

I will give one of these construction workers like $500. You were really loud will helm screen like you know the iconic like the just the standard boiler plate movie screen, right.

It's just like an iconic man shrieky screen. I will you find me one of those construction workers and give them $500 to live on air.

Oh, yeah, I actually watched a thing on Netflix. So they're talking about how they this is a screen that originated in like the some Hollywood movie in the 50s or 60s.

And then it's really, really old. I know that it's been inserted into like a bunch of movies like was in the original Star Wars. Like it's like almost like a bit like a secret undercover bit that like directors are playing like for each other to just like see if they can insert the Wilhelm screen.

Yeah, no, it's it's like in so many movies, especially if you've heard it like isolated. You will notice it in like a fit of all the movies you watch going forward.

Yeah, it's in like Indiana Jones and like everything.

It's something that people don't realize about movies like video games that like not every movie or video game has its own like unique sound effects.

I was shocked as a child on King Griffey Jr. baseball and in 64 had this like dugout cheering sound when you hit a home run.

And like I started hearing it and like other games after that. And like that was like my the end of the innocence for my childhood basically with this sound effect was being recycled throughout various video games.

And I know that is the case of the movies. You say is the Wilhelm screams. That was you said. Yeah.
