Brian, in the final part of today's show here in the Irish Breakdown podcast brought to you by Fandul. We're talking to some other games going on around college football. We're not going to take as deep of a dive, but these are just some other games that you guys should keep your eyes on. Some we've already mentioned before when we were talking about, you know, the Notre Dame routing guide, others we haven't really talked about yet.

And that's the first one on the docket here for us.

And it's at noon on Saturday, number 18, Michigan is on the road against Northwestern.

Michigan's favored by 13 points. Overunder set at a whopping 41 and a half, Brian.

So, yeah, looking to set back, at least the passing game. The forward pass may be set back a couple of years in this.

Sure. Sure. It's a big game for Michigan, Trevor. I mean, it's unlikely. But in a weekend where 10 and 11 are both under are both underdogs in a weekend where you know we were just talking

about this. 12 has a tough game and then 12 has to go on the road next weekend and play

a ranked opponent next weekend. 13 plays a road game over a quality team. 15 has a tough

matchup. 17 has a tough matchup. If there's a little bit of chaos this week in Michigan

go on the road and beat a five and four Northwestern team, they could jump up three, four,

five spots and then they're another weekend of chaos away from knocking on the door to get into the

playoff if they can either a beat Ohio State or C, play Ohio State down to the wire

in a weekend where somebody else loses a rivalry game.

So they need a lot of help.

But Michigan is a team knocking on the door of the playoff,

which to me just says a lot about how big the drop off is between the top teams in the country and then just everybody else knocking on the playoffs.

But it's a very unique game.

And I think it's a big game for Northwestern too, but for very different reasons.

Northwestern to me is a team that was kind of rolling there for a while, Treb. You know, they were five and two and had a, you know, their losses were to 20 point loss to Tulane, 20 point lost to Oregon. They beat Western Illinois, beat UCLA, Louis-Hen Monroe, Penn State, Purdue. And then they lose on the road to Nebraska, lose on the road to USC. They got Michigan, they got Minnesota coming up next week, and then they're at Illinois.

Okay, yeah, you're going to finish six and six with a home loss to Michigan,

or are you going to kind of pull off a big upset and then still maybe finish eight

and four, seven and five, something like that.
