Let's talk week 11 waiver wire options next on fantasy football today in 5.

Welcome to FFTN5.

I'm Chris Towers here flying solo for the Monday night, Tuesday morning edition of the podcast.

0:18.7

And before we get to the week 11 waiver wire targets, let's talk a

0:23.4

little bit about the bills absolutely baffling loss to the Broncos on Monday night. They lost 24 to

0:30.3

22. This was a game where the bills turned the ball over four times and still had an opportunity

0:36.3

to win, if not for some absolutely boneheaded mistakes late in that game.

0:40.8

A really bad defensive pass interference penalty to get the Broncos into field goal range.

0:46.3

And then when the Broncos missed said game winning field goal, the bills of course had 12 men on the field and the Broncos got to move the ball

0:55.9

1:02.0

1:08.8

James Cook and his issues hanging on to the ball. He had

1:14.0

a fumble on the very first touch of the game, which I believe was his first fumble since his very

1:20.4

first NFL carry. And the bills responded by benching him for at least the next two drives, if not the next three.

1:28.7

He did get involved in the game again.

1:31.3

There was a situation where I was a little worried they were going to blame him for a

1:35.6

fumble that was on Josh Allen, but James Cook did end up with 12 carries for 109 yards,

1:41.8

two catches for 11 yards, so a decent fantasy day after what looked like a disastrous fantasy day early on.

1:49.0

So he really salvaged it with a 42-yard carry late in the game that also featured a

1:54.7

fumble that he was able to pick up.

1:56.1

So I guess we don't punish guys when they recover their own fumbles, even though it's still a fumble.

2:01.9

I've never understood why coaches get so irate about fumbles.
