Welcome to the Peter King Podcast, Thanksgiving Week Edition and I'll be joined by my friend from NBC Paul Burmister and also later in the podcast

We'll get some insight on the Dallas Cowboys from Ed Werder of ESPN in the middle of a pretty challenging schedule for them, losing to Kansas City and not looking very good on Sunday.

And then obviously playing on a short week, the Las Vegas Raiders on Thanksgiving,

which will probably be a better game

than two teams with a combined record of 316 and won,

Dallas and Chicago playing in the first game.

And I guess, you know, Paul, I guess we're going to be subject to the Detroit Lions, watching the Detroit Lions play for three hours every

Thanksgiving for the rest of our lives. I don't know how we can change this but perhaps an act of Congress or or something like that but anyway good to be with you Paul happy Thanksgiving to you

happy Thanksgiving to you. Happy Thanksgiving to you as well. It seems like every spring around the time the

schedule comes out you appear to have a very good relationship with Howard Katz so maybe

instead of an act of Congress you can call Howard on Thanksgiving.

Yeah, well, you know, there are some things.

And look, I'm a big fan of tradition.

I love, I love traditions like and I honestly like the

Thanksgiving Day tradition in Detroit. I just wish that you know they weren't oh nine and one every year or they weren't I mean you know that the

hilarious part of this year's game is that we don't know who's going to play quarterback for Chicago and if it's

Andy Dalton who cares and we think probably some guy named Tim Boyle is going to play quarterback for Detroit and

Tim Boyle distinguished himself at in major college football if you'd even call it that in Yukon for three years by throwing

one touchdown pass at 13 interceptions and that ladies and gentlemen is what we're

going to watch evidently in the first game on

Thanksgiving. But I digressed. I did want to ask you, Paul, we're recording

this on Monday this week because on Tuesday I'll be flying out to the west coast my wife and I will spend family Thanksgiving in Seattle
