It's a Friday edition.

Friday's the best day the week because it's the day Ari and I talk about games that are coming up on Saturday,

which means we get to watch football all day tomorrow.

It's going to be beautiful.

It's going to be glorious.

There's some great games.

There's some very interesting lines, very interesting over-unders.

And Ari, I am very ready for this week.

We, you know, spent a lot of Thursday talking about potential compromise with the college football

playoff.

It seems like the commissioners who got really mad at Greg Sankey are now ready to get out

of their own way and maybe get something done in time for 2024.

It sounds like the only tweak that they want to make to the original plan is instead of

it being the six highest ranked conference champs, it's the Power 5 conference champs and the

highest ranked group of five champ, which would change, would change the outcome like one out

of every 10 years.

I can live with that, Ari, if they just get this thing going.

Yeah, I understand that.

I think that bringing back the idea of winning a conference championship is kind of cool.

Am I alone in that?
