just passing yeah everyone's very concerned about the nfl trade deadline this week nothing

else going on in the world so everyone's got to lock in and make sure that we have our Jonathan Mingo takes in order.

Well, let's kick off with that. We're going to do nine teams at the front, including all the trades,

all the coaching firings, Monday night football recap, and then one breakout performance. And then we'll get to the rest of the names and teams in alphabetical order. And we'll kick things off

with those Dallas Cowboys as you just ruin the surprise. But I mean, this is really like just crazy

stuff. Okay. From Tom Palisero this morning, trade, the Cowboys are acquiring wide receiver

Jonathan Mingo and a 2025 seventh round pick from the Panthers for a 2025 fourth round selection per sources.

There's a million ways to take this, Hayden, including the Panthers just dealing away a much better wide receiver

to move up about a dozen spots from the sixth round to the fifth round.

I do think on some level this is a lesson. And one, teams really valuing

their pre-draft evaluations on a player. And two, also the value in their eyes of the acquiring

team of a rookie contract versus a veteran expiring deal. Yeah, that's exactly. That explains the

trade compensation.

I think it's a little bit of a sunk cost fallacy.

If you're not going to move on from your players like this,

I think that the Cowboys are probably putting too much faith in their pre-draft process

and not accepting what Jonathan Mingo has been as an NFL player.
