Church, one of the things we're going to do in this series is we're going to spend some time

praying together each week because the book of James begins with a call to prayer for wisdom

and ends with a call to prayer for healing and sickness.

And so we're just gonna take a minute or so

and we're gonna pray and so I'm gonna kinda lead us in prayer.

So if you want to join me,

Father, the heavens declare your glory.

There is no one like you.

You are beyond any compare.

So God, we worship you right now.

Thank you. So God, we worship you right now. Father, the truth is that when we come face to face

with your glory and your perfection, we realize that's not us.

God, we try to act like it, but deep down inside,

we know we're not God of our own lives.

And so, Lord, we confess to you

all the ways that we try to rule and reign

in our own days.

Father, thank you for Jesus.

Thank you for his life, his death, his resurrection that forgives us of all sin.

God, thank you that we can be adopted into your family, counted as one of your children.

And Lord, we come to you today because we've been looking at this abundant life thing for months and months and months together.
