Well, it's another year of the Peter King Podcast, another regular season.

And aren't you just a little bit surprised we got here?

Come on, admit it.

You're a little surprised that somehow, some way, we made it to week one of season

number 101 of pro football in the United States.

And I'm not saying I'm shocked,

but I am a little bit surprised.

What I'm really surprised about

is that last Saturday, you know, on the opening weekend of the

NFL season, the NFL tested 30 teams, all players, all coaches, all essential staff approximately 3,600 people tested

Saturday between 7 a.m. and noon local time. All 3,600 players pass the tests. Zero

nate, zero positive tests among those 3600. So you know look I've been a little bit skeptical and

dubious about the NFL being able to pull this off and we'll see what happens

during the course of the year but I think it is a tremendous accomplishment and achievement for the players and the coaches in the NFL and the people who have organized this and pulled it off.

People in the NFL office who you've never heard of before,

but who've done a terrific job.

Hats off to them.

Good job to them. It was a darn interesting week one. I'm going to get to a couple of
