Matt, welcome back to the show. Thank you. Yeah, this week in Disney history. Well, I should say this year.

Did you know that this marks the 50th anniversary of the Walt Disney Company purchasing the film rights to Winnie the Pooh.

Really? I did not know that.

So it makes sense that the Winnie the Pooh movie, which I know is a lot, you know, on a lot of kids'

Christmas lists would come out, you know, 50 years later. So a little tidbit there for you.

Very cool. Well, we got some great stories here on Wedway now this week,

and we're going to talk about Star Wars weekends. We're going to talk about some new additions

over at Disney, California Adventure. We're going to talk about a whole bunch of stuff,

including an exciting thing coming up for auction as well. Well, cool. Let's get right into it

for the week of December 8th, 2011.

All right. Well, last week, right after we recorded Wedway now, they actually released the dates for Star Wars Weekends at Walt Disney World.

And nothing too flashy here. It's going to run from May 18th that weekend and every successive weekend all the way through June 8th.

So they're heading back to Walt Disney World.

Last year, I think a little bit has kind of come off this year because last year you know they were opening with the brand new star tours.

And this year it'll just be basically a return to what was so popular back then with the parades and the meet and greets not that there wasn't that last year but you know star wars weekends

has always been really cool i've always been a star wars fan and i've I've I've only been to one Star Wars weekend my

entire life and it was the very first one. And I'm sure it's like a hundred times better now.

It is. Yeah, the parades and everything. I mean, especially if you're a kid who's into Star Wars today,

I mean, think about when you and I were kids with Empire Strikes Back and Return to the Jedi.

There was nothing like this for us to experience. And so if you're a kid today who likes clone
