| 0:13.9 | We've been experiencing such a transformation in ethics, and indeed a transformation |
| 0:18.6 | of worldview in a rapidly secularizing and liberalizing Western civilization that's |
| 0:24.6 | hard to keep up. |
| 0:25.6 | And it's also hard to know just how evenly this civilization is moving in a more secular |
| 0:31.4 | and more left-ward direction. |
| 0:33.9 | But over time, it has been clear that it is the gender and sexuality issues that are |
| 0:38.9 | the clearest indicator and perhaps also the most powerful engines of that revolution in |
| 0:44.4 | a more secular and more progressivist or more liberal direction. |
| 0:48.6 | But one of the things we've had to consider as Christians is whether or not there are |
| 0:52.2 | any limits to just how far that revolution can go. |
| 0:55.9 | Now when you're looking at the big picture, the fact is that it's clear this is a still |
| 1:00.6 | unfolding revolution. |
| 1:02.7 | But it's also clear that there are certain limitations at least right now, certain cultural, |
| 1:08.5 | moral, even ideological limitations right now that are causing a bit of a hiccup in the |
| 1:15.1 | inevitable progress, at least as the progressives see it, of society moving more leftward on |

| 1:21.7 | The revolution and sexuality and gender moving into ever more radical directions. |
| 1:27.2 | The big issue here, of course, is the T and LGBTQ. |
