Well, just a matter of days ago, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints,

that is to say Mormon authorities, released a major statement about the transgender issue and it made national headlines.

It even made international headlines.

The Mormons are an international group, although their international growth has stalled somewhat.

But nonetheless, looking at the headline, for example, the Associated Press tells us, quote,
