From the heels of his indictment, Hunter Biden has sued the Internal Revenue Service,

saying his privacy was violated when two IRS agents shared his personal information.

The lawsuit claims that the agents targeted and sought to embarrass Mr. Biden by sharing

his confidential tax details both to Congress and the press and seeks $1,000 for each act

of unauthorized disclosure plus punitive damages.

One agent's lawyer says he's protected by whistleblower laws and claims the lawsuit

is a frivolous smear.

Representatives for the other agent said Biden's effort to silence his client and other agents

will not succeed.

The White House has made minimal comments simply stating President Biden is staying out
