0:13.7	The Vice President of the United States went on CBS's program Face the Nation on Sunday
0:19.4	and basically said that it was false to say or to claim that any major Democrat, most importantly,
0:27.4	President Biden or Vice President Kamala Harris supported abortion all the way up until
0:32.2	the moment of birth.
0:33.2	She was adamant about that.
0:35.0	She appeared to be angry about that.
0:38.1	And she faced down those who made such claims and said that it was ridiculous and simply
0:42.2	not true.
0:43.9	Marina Pratowski, for USA Today, reports the story this way, quote, Vice President Kamala
0:48.5	Harris rejected accusations from some Republican officials that Democrats want to allow abortion
0:54.2	procedures up until a person gives birth.
0:57.5	And as USA Today said, she called the claim ridiculous.
1:00.9	Now I've watched the entire interview.
1:02.1	I watched it twice just to make certain I had not misunderstood what the Vice President
1:06.2	said.
1:07.2	The Vice President was very clear and at the same time very evasive.
1:11.8	And in this case, evasive to the point of what I can only describe as dishonesty.
1:16.8	The Vice President said it's ridiculous to claim that there are any Democrats who want
1:21.0	to allow abortion procedures up until the moment of birth.
