Do you ever have trouble sleeping?

I mean, you look at the clock, it's 127 a.m.

and finally you get to sleep and the alarm goes off.

The Bible does say that God gives his beloved sleep.

Hello, friends. Welcome back to our episode on Psalm 4. Didn't know what it's going to say there

for a moment, but,

hey, every now and then you get tongue tied on these podcasts.

Now, I'm looking at a camera. I'm trying to think about you in your car or you on your workout bench

or you at your kitchen table with your cup of coffee, and sometimes it just kind of all blends together.

So forgive me for brain freezes like that. But we are in Psalm 4 and we talked a bit

yesterday about what to do when we are misrepresented. What do we do when people lie about us?

People that ought to know better?

How long? And it's not wrong to take those raw emotions to the Lord. Lord, are you listening?

You've heard me in the past. Lord, you're my righteousness. I know that you set apart the godly for yourself. Lord, I'm not going to sin in this, in this fear, in this anger,

in this trembling of mind, but I'm just going to stop and commune with myself upon my bed. I'm

going to think about it. I'm going to allow your presence and your word and your peace to inform my reactions. And now we're in verse number five,
