This week we have a story from a listener named Jessica Rose 94.

I've been listening to the podcast religiously for the past few months starting from the

beginning and I realized that I have been lucky enough to lead a fairly normal life.

There were only two instances in my youth that I want to share on the podcast.

The first instance happened when I was in grade school, perhaps around 10 years old.

My class and I were on a field trip to the Denver Art Museum.

We were on the school bus on the highway and I was looking out the window.

I loved getting a window seat.

I like to look at all the cars passing by.

I wondered where they were going, curious about their paths and their lives.

Honestly, I was looking for dogs too.

We caught up to this beige sedan-type car.

It was filthy inside.

As my window got closer to the car, I first saw the back seat.

It was practically filled from the floor to the back window with trash.

I saw food wrappers, take out bags and dirty clothes.

It looked like a dumpster, but it was in fact somebody's vehicle.

As we caught up to the car, I saw the front seat come into view.

I realized that the passenger seat was the same, filled with trash and garbage.

Thankfully, I couldn't smell the inside of that car.
