an additional story with you to help you get through that midweek slump.

This week we have a story called The Night My College Roommates Boyfriend snapped by

a listener named Jenna.

I've been listening to the show for two years now.

I heard about it from one of my best friends and I'm glad that they shared it with me.

It has given me a space to share one of the most terrifying things that happened to me.

Now for a little backstory, this happened four years ago in a college dorm.

At the time I was attending Southern Utah University, majoring in criminal justice with

an emphasis in forensic science.

I had a very hard time making friends there so I mostly stuck to hanging out with my roommates

and their friends.

We were making dinner in the shared kitchen one night when we ran into a couple of boys

who lived in our dorm building.

We started talking and shouting insults at each other, nothing mean hearted, just some flirtatious

fun.

Over the next couple of hours, my roommates became friends with them.

Within weeks they became frequent flyers at our dorm.

One of my roommates, Beth, had a huge crush on one of the boys.

We'll call him Steve.

They started to hang out more, but little did Beth know Steve did not like her.
