With yesterday being election day, there are still a lot of votes and a lot of ballots being tabulated, being counted across the country.

So we are going to do a quick update in the core four with the things that we know of for sure.

But we still need a couple days before we figure out how some of these closer

Senate races and congressional races play out. But I do know in two second tunes, we are taking a

trip through the 2000s and it is a lot of fun. It's a vibe. And in pop stop, I'm going to tell

November 9th, 2022. The Core 4, the four headlines you need to know.

Cornell University announced all frat parties and social events have been suspended. This comes after an alleged sexual assault and multiple reports of students being drugged at off-campus housing. Cornel's

intra-faternity council made the decision after an emergency meeting on Sunday. Earlier that day,

police issued a crime alert due to a sexual assault reported overnight. And on Friday, they also issued an alert because of four incidents where students may have been drugged with roofies. Those students reported drinking little to no alcohol at an off-campus location, but became incapacitated while attending

parties between late September and this past weekend. The school did not release the names of any of

the fraternities in their official release, but there is a local publication reporting that the

drugging incident involving the multiple victims in one night was recorded in the campus police daily crime log with the address of the Theta Delta Chai frat house.

As of recording this podcast, which is just after 3 o'clock in the morning on the East Coast, here's what we know about yesterday's midterm elections so far.

It looks like Republican Dr. Oz has lost to Democrat John Federman.

Now, this is the first Senate seat that's been called that has actually flipped a seat from Republican to Democrat.

But on top of that, it's also the most expensive race in the

country this year by far. The combined spending on the open Pennsylvania Senate race was over

$332 million. But on top of that, there are four more closely contested Senate races that are still
