NFL week number nine, just one day away, kicking off tomorrow night with the Philadelphia Eagles on the road at the Houston Texans. And yesterday in the Telegram Channel, I sent out the Philadelphia Eagles minus 13. For those of you not yet in the

and look, I got, I talked about it on the Sunday night show here on the podcast. I talked about it yesterday.

I know it's a big number to lay on the road. And when it comes to the NFL, there's this

stigma that you shouldn't do it. And I understand that. But it's a short week, which always

tests the road team. But the Eagles don't need to do much in terms of a

game planning perspective when it comes to playing the Houston Texans because they saw the

Tennessee Titans run up and down the field for four quarters dominating at the line of scrimmage.

So that early week burden just really

isn't here for the Philadelphia Eagles to deal with from a game planning perspective. They can do what

they do well and arguably as well as any team not named Buffalo or Kansas City in the league

and just moved to football up and down the field. And so I didn't have many issues laying it,

but then it kind of just became a little bit better

because there's now Brandon Cooks yesterday,

who all morning was liking all of the tweets from reporters

linking him to a move to Minnesota.

He was excused from practice,

was the words that Lovie Smith used.

And then all of the sudden, later in the day, once the trade deadline passed, despite not being a practice, despite being on social media the whole morning, he was ruled out of practice with a wrist injury.

The wrist worked pretty well on Twitter and Instagram, scrolling through the phone

all day and liking all the reporter's tweets. There's apparently a rift going on between him,
