Most of this recording at 8.30 p.m. Eastern Time, 18 children between 2nd and 4th grade,

as well as 2 teachers, were killed at Rob Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, by an 18-year-old

shooter who was also dead at the hands of responding officers.

The shooter reportedly shot his own grandmother before turning fire on the school, where he had

formerly been a student.

The casualties have not yet been fully assessed, and still this is already the deadliest shooting

at a U.S. grade school since the attack at Sandy Hook Elementary.

This story is developing, and I may be back later with additional updates.

Yesterday, Georgia, Arkansas, Alabama, and Texas held their primary elections.
