All right, let's go. We always start with the top story and I know we're gonna see a lot of headlines and posts about this today

So I wanted to start with it today May 24th is the one year anniversary of the shooting at Rob elementary school in

Newvalde, Texas. That was a hard one an 18 year old former student of the school fatally shot 19 students and two teachers

17 others were injured. It's one of those that I think a lot of us

Remember where we were when we got that news. I happened to be cutting into my son's birthday cake

with my wife and kids when when all the news all started coming through on my phone. That was one year ago today

I know that families of that school will be gathering today to remember the lives that were lost that day

City officials actually released a letter last week requesting privacy for the community

During this time they said quote we appreciate the love and support please host something in your hometown in their honor

I get it

I mean, well, most people you know visiting you, Valdi are doing so with the best intentions

I just think they don't want to be you know, I get tourist destination especially during such an emotional time for them
