Do you remember in Austin Powers when Dr. Evil's plan to take over the world involved sharks with laser beams on their heads, and then everyone

makes fun of him for it? Well, that might be a real possibility soon. And I feel like not enough

people are talking about it. And you'd think that with America funding two major wars, this would

be a bigger story. Because for the first time in history, the United States military has publicly acknowledged using laser beams for defense in a war zone.

Along with the billions of dollars and weapons that we've sent over to Israel, apparently the army sent over two laser beam weapons to the Middle East that are being used to shoot down enemy drones.

Now, that doesn't mean that the drones are in Israel. America has a ton of bases throughout

the Middle East, so they could be in Jordan, Syria, Israel, or a number of other places.

And considering the Army has been trying to figure out how to use laser technology in war

since like the 70s, this announcement is huge.

And if you're interested in the finances behind our mega war machine, the company that

makes these laser defense weapons is called Blue Halo.

We might be living through the downfall of the Miss USA organization.
