| 0:18.0 | that the fate of the abortion pill now lies with the Supreme Court of the United States. |
| 0:23.0 | You see headline-after-headline framed over the course of the last week or so, particularly because |
| 0:28.4 | so much is at stake in the case that was heard in oral arguments before the Supreme Court yesterday. |
| 0:35.0 | But as we look at this, we need to recognize there are always multiple dimensions |
| 0:39.0 | working at the same time. |
| 0:40.0 | One dimension is, what is the court actually deciding or what questions will it have to |
| 0:46.0 | confront? The second issue is how is the mainstream world talking about this, the mainstream |
| 0:51.5 | media, how are they talking about it how are |
| 0:54.2 | those who are trying to frame the issue well how are they trying to frame it if you |
| 0:59.3 | look at the mainstream media the more liberal media are trying to claim that the fate of the abortion |
| 1:05.3 | pill now lies with the Supreme Court. There is a dark sinister plot they |
| 1:10.0 | would indicate in order to deny women access to the abortion pill and that is |
| 1:15.5 | taking the shape of this challenge that now the Supreme Court must turn back. |
| 1:20.1 | On the other hand the pro-life movement has a lot invested in this case with a very important |
| 1:25.2 | argument that the Food and Drug Administration violated its own rules and has put doctors |
| 1:31.4 | at risk of being forced to participate in abortion simply because of the way |
| 1:35.9 | the abortion pill actually works. |
| 1:38.6 | And so big issues at stake here, we need to look at the oral arguments as they were presented at the court yesterday, |
