I'm Carla Boree, and today is Wednesday, March 27th,

2024. The Core 4. The four headlines you need to know. The first abortion case since the

Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade started yesterday. This time, it was about Mitha Pristone. The

medication used in nearly two-thirds of all abortions in the U.S.

last year. According to experts, after the opening arguments, it seems that access to the

medication will be preserved. The original lawsuit was against the FDA and filed by anti-abortion

doctors and anti-abortion organizations.

They say the FDA's actions in approving the drug were unlawful.

We won't actually know the outcome of this case until the summer since the judges won't vote

until June.

But even judges who ruled to overturn Roe v. Wade seem to think the group that brought the lawsuit to the Supreme

Court doesn't really have a case. By now, you've heard the news, you've seen the videos,
