If you thought we had already seen the worst of the winter season, think again.

From strong winds and red flag conditions blasting across parts of New Mexico and West Texas

to blizzard conditions and thunder snow reported in Omaha,

winter is throwing everything it has on its way out the door with the Midwest catching most

of it. Right now, winter storm alerts stretching from Kansas to Michigan's upper peninsula

where three to nine inches of snow could accumulate through tomorrow.
