Summary

Hosea 13:9-16 In the middle of a hard-to-hear passage of rebuke, Hosea offers the redemptive hope that can only come from God! Through Jesus, God offers hope not only over sin itself, but also from its consequences of death and the grave. Paul quoted this very verse to encourage the Corinthians about the same thing!

0:55.5	that God is giving to his people. But remember, the word of God is for our benefit. These people
1:01.9	have long since died. Their story has been told. This does them no good. These verses, these principles
1:09.1	are only good for the people that are still living, that are still
1:13.5	engaging in decision making. And my prayer is that these teachings, these principles that we're
1:20.5	sharing would inform our mind in such a way that we would make good and godly decisions. So, Josea chapter 13. And we finished yesterday
1:32.5	in verse number nine. I only read half of the verse. So let me read it again and introduce today's
1:40.2	teaching. Verse number nine, O Israel, can you hear the heart of God in that?
1:46.4	God just had to say some hard things to her.
1:49.1	Oh, Israel, thou hast destroyed thyself.
1:54.5	Man, you ruined your life.
1:56.6	This is a loving husband speaking to a wife.
1:59.1	This is a loving father speaking to a child. This is a loving father speaking to a child.
2:01.2	Oh, Israel, that was destroyed thyself, but in me is thine help.
