A federal judge has thrown out a Florida law that blocked transgender children from getting treatment.

Senior judge Robert Hinkle said the 2023 Florida law that blocked gender affirming care for transgender minors

and severely restricted the treatment for adults was unconstitutional. He said the state went way

too far when it barred transgender minors from being prescribed puberty blockers and hormonal

treatments with their parents' permission. Florida also had a ban on online treatment
