0:36.0	be anyone, whether they're in Congress or not, but it usually is the leader of the majority

0:41.9	The expected speaker, Representative Kevin McCarthy, was so confident that he would win
0:46.6	the speakership that he actually moved into the Speaker's office on Monday.
0:50.8	But when the time came for voting yesterday, McCarthy lost three votes in a row for the

0:56.3	Not only that, but Donald's Kevin actually lost support over the course of the day, ultimately
1:01.5	falling over a dozen votes short of the 218 he needs.
1:05.9	As of now, there is still no speaker, so the House will reconvene tomorrow to continue

1:10.8	But we can't move on without noting that this is the first time in 100 years that a House
1:14.8	speaker has not secured their position on the first round of voting.
