Today we return to the transgender issue because we have to.

Not only because this is one of the most important issues facing the world today,

but because this is one of the most pressing

headlines facing modern sport.

In order to understand these headlines, we go to the University of Pennsylvania and to the

world of women's sports. in particular the women's swim team at the

University of Pennsylvania and in particular one member of that team

Leah Thomas.

Leah Thomas is identified as a transgender woman or a transgender female.

The point is she is sweeping the events.

She is winning so many of the events and this has become an issue of great controversy

understandably enough because single-handedly the person identified as

Leah Thomas is basically raising the question as to whether or not the very idea of women's sport,
