Good morning, my friends.

I'm sitting here in the hotel lobby at our hotel at the Sea of Galilee.

It's evening. We've completed our day of touring. We were in Tel Dan up in the north. We were also in a place called Cessori of Philippi,

where Jesus declared that he would build his church. The gates of hell would not prevail against it.

We also spent some time in the city of Hippos, which is one of the ten cities of Decapolis.

It's on the other side of the Sea of Galilee. Just an amazing site. So we've had a great day,

but I needed to spend some time with you

because we're in Matthew, Chapter 5. So I want you to, if you have a copy of the Bible,

we're trying to figure out where we stopped yesterday. Yeah, I think we stopped in verse number 22 talking about the root of murder is anger.

And Jesus is much more concerned with why we do what we do than what we do.

Now, is Jesus concerned about behavior?

Of course he is.

But if all we ever do is deal with behavior,

and we never deal with the root of that behavior,

...
