| 0:39.2 | authorization of the government headed, of course, by the Communist Party there in China. And that |
| 0:45.6 | government has released information indicating that the birth rate in China for the last completed |
| 0:51.9 | year is the lowest of the entire period of the dominance of the |
| 0:57.0 | Chinese Communist Party there. So in the entire history of the Communist Party there in China, |
| 1:03.6 | we're looking at the lowest birth rate ever. And as you look at this, you recognize that when |
| 1:09.0 | you see China, you have generally thought over |
| 1:11.5 | the course of the last several decades of the world's most populous country. |
| 1:15.1 | It isn't now. |
| 1:16.3 | It fell to second place behind India in the year 2023. |
| 1:20.6 | But what we're looking at in China right now is what can only be described as a demographic |
| 1:25.7 | catastrophe. |

| 1:29.2 | media in the United States know this is a big story. Now more on that in just a moment, |
