0:08.2	I'm Elber Moeller and this is the briefing, a daily analysis of news and events from a Christian worldview.
0:14.0	Israel has just marked 100 days of active battle against Hamas after the October 7, Hamas attack on Israel.
0:22.9	They killed about 1,200 persons,
0:24.8	an unprovoked attack by a terrorist organization.
0:28.0	Israel's been pushing back now.
0:30.4	And even as we're looking at 100 days of of war we understand this has not been an even
0:35.4	schedule because it took some days for Israel to be ready to mobilize forces to go into the
0:40.9	Gaza Strip and to seek to eradicate Hamas.
0:44.4	And that is the main ambition Israel set from the beginning,
0:48.2	the elimination of Hamas.
0:49.5	Now, as we're going to see, that raises an interesting question.
0:52.4	Does that mean the elimination
0:53.5	of Hamas as a terrorist group or does it mean the elimination or at least effective
0:59.2	elimination of Hamas in terms of leadership and the ability to strike Israel from the
1:04.3	occupied territories. That remains an unanswered question and it is probably in the
1:09.3	interest of Israel not to answer that question. But marking 100 days of the conflict, Israel's
1:15.9	Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was very clear that Israel is determined to
1:20.3	finish the battle that Hamas had begun.
1:24.0	And with very unmistakable language,
1:26.0	the Israeli Prime Minister went on to make a pledge
1:29.0	that Hamas would be eradicated and defeated.
