We begin this new year with breaking news out of New Orleans.

At least 10 people have been killed, 30 injured after a car plowed into a group of people on Bourbon Street.

Now, police say the driver intentionally drove into that crowd, and it happened around 3.15 a.m. just hours after the city rang in the new year.

The driver was not in custody this morning.

Well, meanwhile, the power is coming back on for people in Puerto Rico after a blackout

affecting nearly the entire island. The company that operates the power grid says it may be an

issue with an underground line and it could take up to two days before power can be fully restored.

Well, House Speaker Mike Johnson is just two days away from a critical leadership vote,

and it is still unclear if he has enough support.
