Hello everybody. I'm John Fawcett with this Great America Show Midday Update for Wednesday, November 26th.

Happy Wednesday, folks, and happy Thanksgiving Eve. Today, tragically, around 2.15 in the afternoon Eastern time, two members of the National Guard were performing high visibility

patrols in Washington, D.C., before a suspect appeared to raise his arms with a firearm and

discharged at the National Guardsman, according to the executive assistant chief of Metro Police

for Washington, D.C. At a press conference earlier today, he said after some back and forth,

the guardsmen were able to subdue the individual and bring them into custody, DC fire and emergency

medical services respond to the scene. They brought those two men to the hospital. It's first

being reported that they had passed away. It's now being corrected that they are in critical

condition in the hospital. We're praying for a speedy

recovery and that these folks pull through the blood on the hands of the Marxist Democrats who have

made these guardsmen and people of the military and their police, these people's lives

just absolutely miserable and horrible by putting targets on their back each and every day

that these folks go to work. It shouldn't be this way, folks.

But the Marxist Democrats are unrelenting in their hatred for this country.

Now, the Secretary of War, Pete Hagseth, had these few words to say after hearing about the attack.

Myself and my team were notified that two National Guardsmen have been shot in Washington, D.C., critically wounded.
