and how we thought, at least I thought, that he was stepping away from the team voluntarily.

That goes back to a year ago, more than a year ago, when we started a random show with Tom Thibbido's job security,

and ultimately he got fired that day.

I mean, if we start with Kyle Tucker, Tucker, he's getting signed today.

Can you be met by the time we get to 1230?

I mean, Tomlin decided to wait until after we were off air to make his announcement,

but that was their regularly scheduled time for their press conference.

So maybe we didn't get the afternoon drive shifting to the morning to the midday show correct in our planning.

But I think Kyle Tucker's got a lot of noise around him right now.

It's not just the Mets.

It's the Dodgers that you hear, the Toronto Blue Jays, who, as we talked about last year, are trying to throw money at people. He's going to get paid. It's just a matter of where he wants to go and for how long he's going to go there. Kyle Tucker, it feels like, is getting signed either today or tomorrow or sometime this week. And it's got to be the Mets because if they miss out on Kyle Tucker, and they're trying,

and I don't buy this thought that they're not really pursuing him and they're leaking this

information out just to make Mets fans feel good.

Trust me, no Mets fan's going to feel good if they don't end up with Kyle Tucker.
