But today's a big day because today was the introduction to possibly the next long-term

head coach of the New York Football Giants, Mike Kafka.

He met the media a couple of hours ago.

And here are the important pieces of information he made official.

Number one, he's promoting Tim Kelly to be the offensive coordinator.

I wonder if he's going to call plays or if Kafka is going to still call plays.

Well, I've got an answer to that too. He has announced that he will indeed continue to call plays.

Good call. So, Mike Kafka will continue to run that offense. And number three, he made something official that Tiki was saying

immediately after the giant came on Sunday, which is that James Winston will be the starter,

assuming Jackson Dart isn't cleared, and he will likely not clear. So that's what we learn

from Mike Kafka. But here's the important thing we're about to learn about Mike Kafka.

Can he keep this job?

Because unlike Jeff Ulbric or even Steve Spagnola,

two of the more recent interim head coaches in New York football history,

this is a guy that's gotten interviews.
