0:14.2	The issue of in vitro fertilization IVF test tube babies very much on the front pages because of a statement made yesterday by the
0:22.0	President of the United States, as Donald Trump made very clear that he had signed an executive
0:26.9	order, which is intended to work throughout the federal government, to remove obstacles,
0:32.4	to expand access, and to reduce the cost of in vitro fertilization. So many worldview issues immediately invoked here.
0:41.0	It is important to look at one of the statements made by the president. He said that he was signing
0:45.3	this order, quote, because we want more babies to put it very nicely. The president continued,
0:49.7	quote, and for the same reason, we will also allow new parents to deduct major newborn expenses from their taxes so that parents that have a beautiful baby will be able so we're pro-family.
1:02.1	But the IVF treatments are expensive. It's very hard for many people to do it and to get it, but I've been in favor of IVF right from the beginning.

1:16.7	Now, this is a president who has taken so many bold actions through executive orders,
1:19.6	and frankly, so many of them have been absolutely necessary,
1:23.3	and I believe Christians should celebrate them and be thankful for them.
1:26.8	This is one that requires us to think very carefully.
1:33.6	On the one hand, thinking very carefully and thinking very biblically, we agree wholeheartedly with the president when he says, we want more babies.
1:37.1	The fall off on the birth rate is one very, very dangerous indicator of the secularization of the culture and the subversion of marriage
1:47.7	and the very subversion of the first command given to the man and the woman in the garden,
1:52.9	which was be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth. We are looking at a birth dearth,
1:58.4	as it has been described. We are looking at a fall off on the birth rate that will be
2:02.4	absolutely catastrophic. The president understands that. And in his repeated statements, I think he
2:08.0	understands it at several levels. He understands it as president of the United States. He understands
2:12.5	it as someone who, by the way, has been in business. Fall off from the birth rate is going to have
