headlines you need to know. Donald Trump has had some pretty impressive

wins recently, which is saying a lot for a guy who was almost assassinated. First, the Supreme

Court ruled in his favor when it comes to presidential immunity. Second, his election interference

case in Georgia was delayed multiple times pushing it past the November election.

Third, a federal judge in Florida threw out his classified documents case.

And finally, his rival, President Biden, dropped out of the race last month, which is a big deal.

Because even with Kamala Harris trending in a better direction than Biden was, incumbent presidents win their

election almost every single time. The only time they don't in at least modern American history

is when the country is in a recession, which technically America is not in. But that hot streak

that Trump was riding may have just hit its first speed bump.

This week, the Supreme Court rejected a bid by the state of Missouri to have Trump's sentencing

in his New York State hush money case pushed back until after the election.

Missouri was trying to claim that the sentencing and Trump's current gag order about the case was hindering

his opportunity to campaign and limiting what he could and couldn't talk about at campaign events.
