And we always start with the top story today.

It's a follow-up to a story that has gotten so much attention over the last week.

Disney is no longer looking to dismiss that wrongful death lawsuit against them.

They are waiving their arbitration rights.

Basically, if you missed it a woman sadly passed away after suffering a fatal allergic

reaction at a restaurant in Disney Springs, and the company initially said,

hey, you can't sue because you sign up for Disney Plus once. They have language in those terms

that says you have to settle any lawsuits with the company out of court.

A Disney spokesperson is now said in a statement, quote,

at Disney we strive to put humanity above all other considerations

with such unique circumstances as the ones in this case

we believe this situation warrants a sensitive

approach to expedite a resolution for the family who have experienced such a painful loss.

So after a lot of backlash, they will allow the lawsuit. a scare. A fire broke out in one of their hotel rooms at their training camp in Oxnard, California.

The River Ridge Residence Inn, they take over the whole hotel for training camp and yeah, the fire,

it was contained to one room, was empty so nobody was hurt.

By the way they're gonna play the Chargers this weekend in their final

preseason game I can't really football season is just about here.
