| 0:32.9 | illegal and off limits talk therapy or so-called talking when it comes to professional practice |
| 0:40.5 | in ways that conflicted with the dominant LGBTQ ideology. |

| 0:46.8 | The state of Colorado had adopted legislation that eventuated in a regulatory measure that |
| 0:53.6 | stated that someone who was a licensed counselor could |
| 0:57.4 | only affirm same-sex orientation or other gender-related, sexuality-related identity questions. |
| 1:05.4 | And as this particular Christian counselor made clear, Kaylee Childs, she was legally prohibited from even |
| 1:12.7 | helping a young person. This is all about minors, children and teenagers. She was in terms of the |
| 1:19.1 | regulation prevented from even helping a young person who wanted to affirm biological sex |
| 1:26.6 | as gender identity or to affirm, let's just say, a traditional |
| 1:31.0 | understanding of gender and sexuality. So it's very, very interesting. Most of this has to do |
| 1:36.5 | with transgender related issues in terms of transgender identity. So this has happened now in several |

| 1:44.3 | You've had several states adopt either legislation |
| 1:46.7 | or regulatory measures that state that licensed medical practice |
