Hey guys, welcome back to We Met Arachnay. It is the fourth episode of the second season.

So welcome and thanks for listening. It was my birthday this past Saturday and I just

want to say thank you for any and all of your birthday wishes. I had the most incredible weekend

surrounded by such amazing friends and family and I'm so so grateful. I actually wanted to make

a speech but I thought that I would get emotional so I did end up making a speech.

So this is kind of like my speech. I just feel like at now 29 you know I started this podcast when

I was 27 and here we are two years later and it's just wild. So thank you guys so much for

listening. As always I love your feedback. If there's anything that you can tell us to improve

the podcast, I'm always listening. So for this little solo portion before we get into

an amazing episode with an etiquette coach which I feel like we all need the advice of

especially with wedding season underway. So what to say when someone asks you if you want to

drink and you're not drinking? That's something that a lot of you guys wanted me to talk about and

I would love to address it. So I mean I haven't fully been in this situation because I've

been with my partner since I kind of stopped drinking but if I were to be dating now,

I actually think that it would be really easy to respond to something like that just because

I feel really secure about the fact that I'm not drinking at the moment. I would probably say

something like yeah it's just not really my thing or it doesn't really you know work for me.

I think drinking is great for you know a lot of reasons but for me I'm just not really into it

and if they're like well that's weird or I don't know if I can be with you then like that's

more of a reflection on them than it is of you because I think it's really normal to not drink.
